Hungary – European standards

Hungary in Europe

Hungary is a country with a thousand years of history. Only eightteen years after major political changes and four years after accession to the European Union, it offers a very exciting present. With a population of 10 million, Hungary is the eleventh largest nation within the EU.

In the past decade, the country has carried out a successful transition from a centralised economy to a fully functioning market economy with European standards. Its impressive capital and charming countryside make Hungary an attractive destination.

Budapest – Tradition and Innovation

Budapest

Budapest, a traditional and dynamic city divided by the majestic Danube River, has always been at the heart of Europe. It is the capital and by far the largest city of Hungary. Budapest is inhabited by nearly 2 million people, comprising one fifth of the population of the country. With its rich cultural heritage, scenic landscape, a unique Central European architecture, historic spas, a reviving café culture and a dynamic business environment, the city has attracted an increasing number of visitors and investors over the past years.

Váci út – the road of offices

Váci út, an arterial road connecting the centre of the city with the Northern districts, has become one of the most important and successful office locations in Budapest, thanks to significant development activity in the past ten years. Váci út has served as a major route in the last 150 years. It was in the second half of the 19th century when a wave of industrial constructions gave the road its present architectural style. Today, monuments of modern businesses have replaced the symbols of early industrialisation. Just on the stretch between two major shopping centers, the Duna Plaza, and the Westend City Center, there are more than ten major office complexes.

Excellent location

Capital Square is located on a square plot on Váci út close to the city center. The plot has excellent visibility from both Váci út and Dózsa György út, and offers unbeatable access by car and public transport. Thanks to its strategic location, Capital Square offers quick and easy access by car to any point in the city, including the city centre, the Danube bridges and Budapest Airport. The site also has its own metro station, ensuring easy access for staff and visitors with the city centre only a five-minute metro ride away.
